Electronic Card Lock
Lockwood eLock is a sophisticated, easy to install electronic card lock,
offering improved security and convenience over traditional mechanical
locks.
Powered by battery, no wiring is required. Simply install
eLock in place of your mechanical locks.
Low cost magnetic stripe cards replace traditional keys.
You select which doors individual users need to access and enter those
in the eLock memory bank.
You need not worry that lost cards will compromise security.
Simply cancel the lost card from the eLock memory bank and issue a new
card.

The easy to use eLock Access System comprises:
- A pack of Master, Stand Open and
Blocking cards.
- User cards with corresponding Cancel cards supplied in packs of
10. (Order as many packs as required.)
- eLocks (No restriction on quantity.)
An cptional software package is available to download
eLocks audit trail.
Ease of use.
• To add a new user to the system simply insert the master
card into the lock.This activates the programming mode. Next
insert a new user card.
• To cancel a lost user card, simply
insert the master card, followed by the
corresponding cancel card.
• Up to 1000 user cards can be programmed for one lock.
Card Types
Master Card
A dual purpose Master card is pivotal to the function
of the eLock Access system. The Master card activates the locks programming
mode, enabling the addition or cancellation of specific User cards.
It also ensures that the eLock is dedicated exclusively to that specific
Master card. No other card can unlock the system which ensures complete
security integrity.
Stand Open Card
The eLock Access system Stand Open card unlocks
the door, which then remains unlocked until the Stand Open card is inserted.Thus
general access is facilitated for designated and extended periods of
time. While 'staff only' areas remain inviolate and secure behind card
access locks, this useful Stand Open feature is ideal for areas requiring
access by the general public during working hours.
Blocking Card
Occasionally temporary blocking of access to all
card holders may be necessary (e.g. public holidays or office shutdowns).
A feature of the Access system is a special Blocking card, which once
inserted.in the lock will prevent access by any other cards, with the
exception of the Master card. To reverse this function, the Blocking
card is inserted a second time, deactivating the blocking feature and
allowing access to all User cards once more.
User Cards & Cancel Cards
The Access system incorporates a unique identity
code on each pre-programmed User cards. No two cards are the same and
the lock has the capacity to record individual card usage in its audit
trail mermory.
To facilitate cancellation of individual
or lost User cards without impacting on other users. every User card
is supplied with a corresponding Cancel card.
